Digital Strategist
A digital strategist at Evergreen Strategies will help run engaging email and text programs for Democratic and progressive candidates and organizations. Engaging email and text messaging programs are an essential part of any campaign or advocacy organization to achieve their goals, raising needed resources from grassroots supporters, recruiting volunteers, and mobilizing supporters to make their voices heard. We are looking for enthusiastic self-starters who are engaged in Democratic politics, effective storytellers, and driven to make the world a better place.

Your Role
- Writing engaging email, SMS, MMS, and landing page copy for clients that spur supporters to action
- Coding email and text messages
- Editing draft email and text message copy
- Proofing samples of emails and text messages
- Producing content calendars
- Maintaining client supporter databases in a variety of CRMs (NGP8, NGP7, Action Network, Mailchimp, and others as necessary) and ActBlue
- Pulling and analyzing email and text performance data to deliver to clients
- Interacting with clients on conference calls and via email
- Monitoring clients’ traditional and social media communications and relevant news to identify potential rapid-response opportunities
Experience and Qualifications
- A self-starter and experienced writer
- Some coding knowledge (in-line CSS, and basic HTML), with proficiency a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, and the ability to analyze data
- An eye for detail, writing and coding with limited errors
- Efficient and can move from one project to the next seamlessly
- Clear communicator and not afraid to ask questions or put forward new ideas
- Knowledge of best practices within the field
- Follow political news and has a passion to help Democrats win
- Major plus alert: Experience producing and placing compelling digital advertisements, graphic design experience, proficiency in Adobe CC software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.), and simply knowing what looks good
Pay and Benefits
- Contracted work starting at a rate between $45,000-$60,000 a year, based on qualifications and experience
- Win bonus potential
- $500 per month health insurance stipend
- $30 per month cell/data stipend

- Full-time remote work opportunity, but ideally based in Florida
